Viral Nonstructural Proteins Expression Service

Creative BioMart Vir-Sci has a mature viral nonstructural proteins expression platform. Our experts have extensive experience in the field of viral nonstructural proteins expression. Over the years, we have completed protein expression experiments for customers. These services have contributed to the clinical development process of many of our biopharmaceutical partners, including but not limited to codon optimization, protein expression analysis and identification, optimization of protein expression conditions. We have a complete protein expression research and development platform, and medical research provides a full range of services.

Non-Structural Protein

Viral Nonstructural Proteins Expression Service

Non-structural protein refers to a protein encoded by the viral genome that has a certain function in the process of virus replication or gene expression regulation, but ultimately does not combine to produce a mature virus and is not a part of the virus structure. They usually include various enzymes and transcription factors used by the virus to replicate itself, such as viral proteases, RNA replicase or other template-oriented polymerases, and some means to control the host.

Examples of Viral Nonstructural Proteins

  • NSP1

  • NSP1 is a non-structural RNA-binding protein that contains cysteine-rich regions and is part of the early replication intermediates. The cysteine-rich region of NSP1 is not considered necessary for the rearrangement of heterologous viral genome segments.

  • NS1

  • Influenza non-structural protein (NS1) is a homodimeric RNA binding protein found in influenza viruses and is necessary for virus replication. NS1 binds to the polyA tails of mRNAs, keeping them in the nucleus. NS1 inhibits mRNA splicing by tightly binding to specific styloid processes of U6 snRNA.
