We have a mature protein/polymer hybrid conjugates platform that can provide rapid and satisfactory protein/polymer hybrid conjugates service according to customer needs. In addition, we also provide amino acids incorporation service and supramolecular chemistry service.

Introduction

Protein-polymer hybrid conjugates are the combination of protein and polymer that have both protein characteristics (such as precise and controllable structure and function, biological activity, etc.) and polymer characteristics (such as adjustable chemical and physical properties, etc.), which is an important class of biological conjugates. It can be widely used in biomedicine fields such as drug/biological macromolecule delivery, molecular imaging/diagnosis, etc.

Coupling process in biology

In the biological field, coupling means that when a chemical reaction occurs, other reactions proceed in a stoichiometric relationship. It is mainly used in the following three situations, coupling of oxidation and reduction, coupling of the redox reaction or decomposition reaction with the phosphorylation reaction, and coupling with ATP decomposition. For the coupling of oxidation and reduction, when the electron donor AH2 is oxidized to A, the electron acceptor B must be reduced to BH2. At this time, the two reactions are called coupling. For example, in alcohol fermentation, the dehydrogenation of glycerol 3-phosphate copy aldehyde and the reduction of acetaldehyde are coupled by the action of two dehydrogenases using NAD+ as a medium. For the coupling of the redox reaction or decomposition reaction with the phosphorylation reaction, it can be seen that the progress of the exothermic reaction is coupled with the generation of ATP (energy absorbing reaction) from ADP and orthophosphate. This is caused by the direct action of one enzyme, or the action of two or more enzymes through the formation of intermediates. Such coupling is important because the free energy of the reaction is directly stored in the form of high-energy phosphate bonds. Coupling with ATP decomposition is also called couplings with reverse reactions, which is the energy-absorbing synthesis and redox reactions, or muscle contraction and active transportation.
